OWN has released a first look at former Real Housewives of Potomac star Monique Samuels in Love & Marriage: DC, confirming a TV Deets exclusive at the same time.
Earlier today (February 16), the network released a teaser trailer for Love & Marriage: DC Season 1, announcing that the show is set to debut this summer alongside Love & Marriage: Huntsville Season 4.

TV Deets Exclusive CONFIRMED!
Regular readers of TV Deets were already in the know after we EXCLUSIVELY revealed the news of Monique and Love & Marriage: DC all the way back on December 30, 2021. In addition, TV Deets was responsible for leaking the names of the couples who would be participating in the series and we have since reported on the series starting to film scenes for Season 1. (The series is only in the first month of filming.)
As previously reported, not only will Monique and her husband Chris Samuels be starring on the show but she is actually responsible for forming the new group of friends in the first place. Joining Monique for Season 1 are Erana and James Tyler, Ashley Brittney and Roberto Silva, and Tasha and Neil Lyons, sources close to production have confirmed exclusively to TV Deets.
The picture above is of the cast at a couple’s dinner hosted by Monique and Chris back in late 2021. Since posting our exclusive story on the new show, we hear that Tasha and Neil will not appear as full-time cast members but instead Friends Of the main cast.
Love & Marriage: Huntsville has become a big hit for OWN and features the personal and professional lives of three influential African-American couples as they revitalize Huntsville, Alabama, and Love & Marriage DMV is expected to follow the same successful format.
Love & Marriage: DC is set to premiere this summer on OWN.
