Kim Zolciak, Macy Gray, O.T. Genasis, and more are set to join the cast of the next season of MTV’s The Surreal Life, the network has announced.
According to Deadline, the next season will also feature Chet Hanks, the son of actor Tom Hanks, former Fifth Harmony singer Ally Brooke, Olympian Johnny Weir, and Josie Canseco, the daughter of MLB icon Jose Canseco.
While an official premiere date has not yet been announced, the series is expected to begin filming in the coming weeks if it has not already with a 2024 debut making the most sense.
The new edition of the once-iconic VH1 series will see “unexpected stars coming together for a wild, over the top journey that pushes them to reveal different sides of themselves in surprising ways,” according to an MTV release.
The series is produced by Adam Gonzalez for A Game Productions with MTV Entertainment Studios and by Samuel Duque for Telecolombia International Studios. For MTV Entertainment Studios, executive producers include Tolani Holmes, Elena Diaz and Camilo Valdes with Matthew Parillo as executive in charge of production.
As previously reported on TVDeets.com, Kim Zolciak was rumoured to be returning to reality TV amid her contentious divorce from Kroy Biermann so it is not surprising to see her end up on MTV’s The Surreal Life.
