Melissa Gorga is teasing RHONJ Season 13 and the reported wedding drama with sister-in-law Teresa Giudice, promising that viewers will get “a lot of answers” when the series returns early next year.
Speaking to Page Six at the 2022 MTV VMAs on Sunday night (August 28), Melissa revealed that RHONJ Season 13 has taken quite the toll on her.
“I am looking to put it all behind me,” she told the outlet of the wedding drama with Teresa Giudice. “We just finished [filming]. We just wrapped, and I need a break. Let’s just put it that way.”
As previously reported, the Giudice and Gorga families are currently embroiled in one of their nastiest feuds yet, with Joe and Melissa Gorga choosing to skip Teresa Giudice’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas at the beginning of the month.
Melissa, for her part, thinks that things will become clearer to fans once the new season debuts. “There’s just a lot of answers,” she explained. “I feel like people want to know why about the wedding and about all these things, and you’ll get a lot of answers.”
RHONJ Season 13 finale drama
Just last week, Frank Catania, ex-husband of Housewife Dolores Catania, revealed that the fighting got so bad between the cast at the recent RHONJ Season 13 finale that they had to be separated by security.
“We go to the party, and it was nice! You’ll see, it’s a theme party, and it was great,” Frank told the gossip outlet of the finale party, which reportedly boasted a roaring twenties theme. “Listen, [Dolores’ boyfriend] did an excellent job. His place was set up so beautifully … [but] we didn’t even get to all of the themes that he set up because it got so crazy.”
He continued, “There had to be people in between the women; there had to be people in between the men. I always try to keep the peace and calm everybody down… But it’s a hard crowd to keep down!”
According to Frank, the finale drama is in fact what led to Melissa and Joe Gorga skipping Teresa Giudice’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas. “There’s a lot that happened after the finale, which determined what happened at the wedding, which is a shame,” he added.
RHONJ Season 13 is set to star Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Dolores Catania, Jackie Goldschneider, with Jennifer Guterman-Fessler, Danielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda reportedly joining the cast. The series is expected to return to Bravo in early 2023.
