Frank Catania says he helped break up a brawl at the RHONJ Season 13 finale, explaining in a new interview that the drama got so bad that the women had to be physically separated.
Speaking to Page Six, Frank Sr. reveals that The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 13 finale taping was filmed at the home of Paul “Paulie” Connell, who happens to be Dolores Catania’s new boyfriend and that viewers won’t be disappointed when the series returns later this year.
“We go to the party, and it was nice! You’ll see, it’s a theme party, and it was great,” Frank told the gossip outlet of the finale party, which reportedly boasted a roaring twenties theme. “Listen, Paulie did an excellent job. His place was set up so beautifully … [but] we didn’t even get to all of the themes that he set up because it got so crazy.”
Frank told Page Six that the drama was so intense, security actually got involved. “There had to be people in between the women; there had to be people in between the men,” he explained. “I always try to keep the peace and calm everybody down… But it’s a hard crowd to keep down!”
According to Frank, the finale drama is in fact what led to Melissa and Joe Gorga skipping Teresa Giudice’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas. “There’s a lot that happened after the finale, which determined what happened at the wedding, which is a shame,” he said.
As previously reported, Melissa and Joe shockingly decided to skip Teresa’s wedding causing a family feud set to dominate the upcoming season.
RHONJ Season 13 is set to star Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Dolores Catania, Jackie Goldschneider, with Jennifer Guterman-Fessler, Danielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda reportedly joining the cast.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey will return with Season 13 later this year.
