Mary Cosby is reportedly returning to RHOSLC for Season 4 in a part-time role.
According to Page Six, Mary wanted to return to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City after exiting ahead of the Season 2 reunion but needed to take a break following the discovery of Jennie Nguyen’s racist posts.
“Mary was dealing with a lot of trauma after Season 2,” a show insider explained of Mary’s reasons for skipping the reunion taping.
“Jennie’s racist posts really seemed to shake Mary, especially after Jennie threw a glass at her on camera,” the source continued. “Mary was grateful for the time away from the cameras, but she seems ready to get back in the mix.”
Heather Gay hints at a Mary Cosby comeback
In an EXCLUSIVE interview with TV Deets just last week, Heather Gay suggested that there was a possibility Mary Cosby could be returning to RHOSLC for Season 4.
“I know she speaks to Meredith quite a bit and she’s Mary Cosby and she’s never not gonna be in the mix in Salt Lake City but I have not spoken to her,” Heather responded when asked if she had spoken to Mary since she exited RHOSLC after Season 2.
She continued, “At this time I could not confirm or deny [a potential return].”
In addition to Heather Gay, Season 3 of RHOSLC starred Whitney Rose, Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks, and Jen Shah, with Danna Bui-Negrete, Angie Katsanevas, and Angie Harrington serving as friends of.
Jen is clearly out of the mix considering she is about to go to prison and fans have been cool on the other newbies, so it will be interesting to see what other changes are made for Season 4.
In our exclusive interview with Heather, she revealed that she wants Angie Harrington holding a snowflake but at this point, it is not clear whether that prediction will come true like Mary’s return or is just wishful thinking on Heather’s part.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 3 airs Wednesdays on Bravo and Season 4 is expected to begin filming next month.
