Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann are “fighting again” after the release of police body camera footage in their divorce case, according to a new report.
Despite the former Real Housewives of Atlanta stars reportedly calling off their divorce in recent weeks, TMZ is now reporting that the duo are “fighting again” after the release of police body camera footage. According to the insider, the two are upset with what they heard each other say in the footage.
“Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … Kim and Kroy are fighting again, and this time it’s over the newly released footage from their interactions with police during their nasty divorce, which they’ve since called off,” reads the report. “Specifically, we’re told Kim and Kroy are upset about what each said about the other to the cops.”
As TMZ points out, Kroy told police in the body cam footage that Kim has an out-of-control gambling problem while Kim voiced concerns Kroy may be suffering from a traumatic brain injury. The footage that has the duo allegedly upset is from May, when police responded to their Georgia residence for a domestic dispute amid their ongoing divorce.
According to the gossip outlet’s insider, the footage being released could have a detrimental effect on any reunion and Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann may split once again. “With the police body cam footage opening some wounds, people close to them say it wouldn’t come as a shock if Kim and Kroy broke up again soon,” says the report, explaining, “although this time our sources don’t believe Kim and Kroy would rush to file for divorce a second time.”
As previously reported, Kim and Kroy called off their contentious divorce battle just weeks ago.
According to a report from TMZ at the time, the two are “really getting along well at the moment” and have decided they “want to figure out how to make things work out … especially for the sake of their 4 young kids.” In a somewhat hilarious sentence, TMZ reports their divorce was “never about love” and described the duo as having a “solid core.”
Kim Zolciak, Kroy Biermann file for divorce amid claims of unpaid taxes
As previously reported, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann both filed for divorce back in May amid reports they owe over $1 million to the IRS.
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star filed paperwork in Georgia and lists April 30 as the date of separation, according to a report from TMZ at the time. The couple were married for over 11 years and had 4 children together during that time. Kroy was also a father figure to Kim’s two children from a previous relationship, Brielle and Ariana.
According to the report, the former RHOA star listed irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. She was reportedly asking for primary physical custody of the kids and joint legal custody and is seeking spousal support from the former NFL star. She also wanted the court to legally restore her maiden name.
The couple owes the IRS for the years 2013, 2017, and 2018, and also owes the state of Georgia $15,000 in unpaid taxes for 2018, according to reports. They were also allegedly fighting to keep their home with rumours the house featured on RHOA and Kim’s spinoff Don’t Be Tardy… was set to be auctioned off back in February.
As previously reported, Kim Zolciack will be seen on Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and was featured in the trailer after filming a scene with fellow OGs Shereé Whitfield, Lisa Wu, and DeShawn Snow.
Kim met Kroy while filming RHOA at a charity event back in 2010 and their relationship was featured on the Bravo show in subsequent years, eventually leading to their own family-based spinoff which lasted for 8 seasons.
