Hulu has ordered a new docuseries called Vanderpump Villa starring none other than Bravolebrity Lisa Vanderpump, according to a network press release.
The streamer, owned by Disney, has ordered 10 episodes of the new show which will follow Lisa and the hand-picked staff of her luxury villa in the French countryside “as they live and work together to navigate every extravagant desire of their well-to-do guests,” reports Variety.
LVP will be an executive producer on the Bunim/Murray Productions series with Entertainment 360 also attached as a producer.
Record-breaking success at Bravo
As the trade outlet indicates, the news comes following part 3 of the explosive Pump Rules Season 10 reunion that saw Lisa and host Andy Cohen attempt to reunite a divided cast after Scandoval.
Not only has the Bravo series skyrocketed in the ratings but the series has already been renewed for Season 11 following the record-breaking drama. Vanderpump Rules is itself a spinoff of the network’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Lisa has had a series of other shows at NBC including Vanderpump Dogs and Overserved.
Hulu is a premiere destination for premium unscripted content, so it makes sense why Lisa wanted to take this new (and sure to be glamorous) show to the streamer. She will become network friends with The Kardashians, which was recently renewed through Season 6 on the Disney-owned service.
Vanderpump Rules airs Wednesdays on Bravo.
