Hulu has ordered two more seasons of their unscripted series The Kardashians ahead of Season 3, according to fresh reports.
Sources tell Deadline that the Disney-owned organization has ordered twenty new episodes for the series, which would in theory bring it through Season 6 as each season carries ten episodes. (Season 3 is set to premiere later this month.)
As Deadline indicates, the Season 1 premiere of The Kardashians launched as the most-watched premiere in the platform’s history and it remains the most-watched unscripted series for Hulu. At the time, Hulu had actually ordered 40 episodes of the series for four 10-episode seasons so this new deal seems to be an extension.
Here’s the official description for the new season: “The cameras return as Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie invite viewers back into their lives as they navigate motherhood, coparenting, and building their own empires. Their bond will be tested and tensions arise, but as a family they will stand together through the storm.”
Much like their infamous E! series, this new series on Hulu follows the famous family as they navigate fame, friendship, and family.
The Kardashians Season 3 drops May 25 on Hulu and Disney+ internationally.
