New series The Kardashians is Hulu’s biggest series premiere in U.S. history, according to the streamer.

According to a new report from Variety, Hulu did not release any specific streaming numbers when making the claim but states that the series is also the biggest Star Originals debut on Disney+ and Star+ internationally. (This doesn’t include shows on Disney+ branded under Marvel or Star Wars, it should be pointed out.)

The Kardashians is the most-watched series premiere on Hulu in the United States, and on Disney+ and Star+ among Star Originals, across all global markets to date,” a Hulu spokesperson told Variety. The streamer’s record-breaking numbers are based on the premiere episode hours watched in the first three days of the series’ release. The Kardashians debuted on April 14.

According to Variety, Hulu has already agreed to make 40 episodes of The Kardashians spread out over 10-episode seasons. This means that while nothing has been publicly announced, we’re looking at least at four seasons of the new series.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians aired for twenty seasons on E! before the family ended their deal and moved to Disney. The Kardashians is executive produced by its stars (Kris, Kim, Kylie, Kendall, Kourtney, and Khloe), along with showrunner Danielle King, Fulwell 73’s Ben Winston, Emma Conway and Elizabeth Jones, plus Ryan Seacrest and new episodes drop Thursdays.
