Denise Richards Leaving ‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ After Just 2 Seasons

She starred on the Bravo hit for two very short, very dramatic seasons.

Denise Richards is leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after 2 seasons, Variety confirms.

According to a story posted shortly before yesterday’s (September 9) RHOBH reunion, Denise has made the decision to leave the franchise and will not appear on Season 11. A representative for the actress was the one to confirm the news.

This season, Denise Richards has been the target of the other women, with Lisa Rinna, Teddi Mellencamp, Erika Girardi, Kyle Richards, and Brandi Glanville (who wasn’t an official cast member, we might add) turned their attention to the actress, accusing her of lying about having a sexual relationship with Brandi.

Denise Richards has confirmed she is leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after two very short, very dramatic seasons.

It is becoming a pattern for the Bravo franchise, with Lisa Vanderpump quitting RHOBH just a year ago for almost the exact same reason. Attention is also being directed at Evolution Media, the production company behind both The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The Real Housewives of Orange County, and for good reason.

Producers included footage this season that seemed to show that they were against Denise, which is really odd considering she was the show’s biggest name, and their decision to do so may have impacted her decision not to continue working with them in the future.

Bravo, for their part, haven’t yet commented on the departure in an official capacity but at the very least, viewers can expect to see a somewhat new cast when the show returns for Season 11.

In addition to Denise, Rinna, Teddi, Erika, and Kyle, this season of RHOBH also featured new Housewife Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke in a part-time role. Earlier this week, rumours surfaced that Teddi Mellencamp may also be on the outs, meaning that there are at least some changes being talked about.
