Bershan Shaw May Be Joining ‘The Real Housewives Of New York City’

Meet the motivational speaker and business coach rumoured to be joining the new season of the Bravo hit.

Bethenny Frankel, Dorinda Medley, and Tinsley Mortimer leaving means there are a few apples up for grabs.

Bershan Shaw is the latest name being thrown around when it comes to The Real Housewives of New York City Season 13 and depending on fan reaction, she may just snag an apple.

According to TMZ, the motivational speaker and business coach is in the mix to join the new season but hasn’t yet been confirmed as a full-time cast member.

Sources close to production tell the gossip outlet that not only has the new season already started filming, but Bershan has already filmed with some of the other women. TMZ also made it clear, however, that her appearance on the Bravo hit isn’t exactly a done deal.

As previously reported, Leah McSweeney is holding out for more money while Ramona Singer, Luann De Lesseps, and Sonja Morgan are all rumoured to be returning for RHONY Season 13. And as discussed at the RHONY reunion, Bethenny Frankel walked out on production just prior to the start of filming on Season 12, so it is possible that the network is looking to fill more than a few positions on the cast.

Who is Bershan Shaw?

According to her Instagram, Bershan is a motivational speaker and business coach based in New York City.

According to TMZ, Bershan is also a two-time breast cancer survivor and is also an actress, so it looks like the ladies of New York will have some competition. She also hosts her own podcast, Buckle Up With Bershan, which you can check out at her official website.

Interestingly enough, she counts Bethenny Frankel and Andy Cohen among some of the accounts that she follows on the social media platform, although they don’t follow her back—right now, at least. She joins Daily Mail host Alicia Quarles as one of the names being floated publicly.

Bershan Shaw seems like the bright, young, and fresh personality that RHONY needs in order to move forward and even though the current season has yet to finish airing, we are already looking forward to the new New York City.

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Thursdays on Bravo.
