Vicki Gunvalson has been spotted filming with the RHOC Season 17 cast in Mexico.
According to a new report from Radar Online, Bravo cameras were rolling as Vicki Gunvalson reunited with her longtime co-stars Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador, as well as new cast member Jennifer Pedantri in Tulum, Mexico for production on RHOC Season 17.
In the photos, Vicki can be seen up front and centre as the cast enjoyed a Mayan ceremony in which the Housewives threw “colorful flower petals in the air,” according to Radar’s insider.
Despite being on the cast trip and being spotted filming for RHOC Season 17 for the first time just a few weeks ago, Vicki Gunvalson has not been asked back — at least publicly — to be a full-time Housewife.
Missing from the trip, at least according to the photos were Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, and new Friend of the Housewives Taylor Armstrong.
Despite reports suggesting Vicki may be more crucial to the upcoming season than first thought, she was not present as part of The Real Housewives of Orange County panel at BravoCon with Shannon Beador, Tamra Judge, Taylor Armstrong, Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Emily Simpson.
She was, however, a part of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip panel at the recent three-day fan event in New York City.
Heather, for her part, has been fending off cheating rumours involving her husband Dr. Terry Dubrow, but it is not yet clear why she was not on the cast trip or if she joined the rest of the women after the photos were taken.
Casting rumours
Taylor Armstrong reportedly isn’t the only cast member joining RHOC for Season 17. Just weeks ago, Emily Simpson was spotted filming scenes with Jennifer Pedranti, and Heather Amin has also been floated as a potential new cast member. (Jennifer is the new face in the photos.)
According to insiders, Tamra is expected to bring on one of her friends but Bravo has yet to release any additional casting announcements regarding the new season and who else is joining remains a secret. While Taylor was announced as a Friend of the Housewives, it is possible she has been upgraded to a full-time Housewife as production on the season progressed.
Even though at least one new woman has been spotted with the RHOC production crew, it does not mean she will be featured on the new season, let alone land a coveted full-time spot, however.
The Real Housewives of Orange County will return with Season 17 later this year.
