Summer House stars Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard got engaged over the weekend during filming on Season 7 of the Bravo show, various outlets have confirmed.
The exciting news first broke on Sunday, August 28 via videos shared to social media and PEOPLE has now confirmed the engagement, with the two reality stars opening up about their relationship in an exclusive.
“I was so surprised, I’m still in shock!” Lindsay, 36, said of her engagement to Carl.
“It was quite the whirlwind throwing off Lindsay,” he added. “She’s a tough one to catch off guard!”
The proposal took place at Southhampton’s Dune Beach and the event was captured for Summer House Season 7, the PEOPLE exclusive confirms. Lindsay and Carl’s co-stars Kyle Cooke, Danielle Olivera, Paige DeSorbo and Mya Allen were all in attendance, with former cast member Andrea Denver even making the invite list. (According to reports, Andrea has not filmed for Season 7 and will not be included as a full-time cast member.)
Now that Lindsay and Carl are engaged, the two tell PEOPLE they are taking it easy when it comes to some of life’s other milestones. “I am very much of the mindset of, whichever way the universe wants to go with our timeline, I’ll follow,” Lindsay explains. “I threw my own timelines out the door, they do not exist. Whether a wedding or marriage comes first or a baby, it doesn’t matter. This is my life partner; we want all the same things together.”
Summer House will return with Season 7 next year.
