Rod Stewart’s son Sean Stewart is set to appear on The Hills: New Beginnings Season 2 thanks to his new relationship with girlfriend Audrina Patridge.
According to Page Six, Sean has landed himself a spot on the MTV reality show after beginning a relationship with Audrina, who starred on the original version of the show before joining the reboot in 2018. While Audrina is set to appear as a full-time cast member, the report states that Sean is still in an uncredited role.
Sources close to the show tell the gossip outlet that not only have the two already filmed scenes for The Hills: New Beginnings Season 2, they were actually introduced to each other via Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, who are also returning. Reality TV fans may recognize Stewart as the boyfriend of former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof.

As previously reported, the journey to a second season for the MTV reality show hasn’t exactly been easy.
After premiering to lacklustre ratings last year, the show has gone through repeated reboots, with Mischa Barton exiting the series and new cast member and socialite Caroline D’Amore reportedly replacing her. Then, the coronavirus pandemic hit and MTV hit the pause button on Season 2.
The break in filming may actually have been good for the show, however, as it has even been reported that the network was considering quarantining the cast in order to complete production on Season 2, much like Jersey Shore: Family Vacation and the recently-renewed Siesta Key. Thanks to Brody Jenner, however, the show will stick to its original format and complete production in Los Angeles.
The Hills: New Beginnings is produced by Evolution Media and Season 2 is expected to premiere on MTV in summer 2021.
