Bravo’s Real Housewives of Orange County is getting a much-needed reboot for the upcoming RHOC Season 16, according to a hot new report.
Sources tell Variety that Bravo is expected to make a Season 16 cast announcement today, June 16, and that Kelly Dodd, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, and Elizabeth Lyn Vargas are all leaving the show. In addition to the three firings, popular former Housewife Heather Dubrow is set to return alongside Shannon Storms Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Emily Simpson. (TV Deets was first to reveal that Elizabeth had joined as a full-time Housewife last season.)

Not only is Heather returning to RHOC Season 16 but the network is reportedly looking to add TWO new Housewives to the mix, although we’re still holding out hope that they’ll make offers to veteran cast members Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson.
As previously reported, it isn’t all that surprising that Bravo is looking to reboot RHOC. The Season 15 finale that aired back in January was one of the lowest-rated RHOC finales ever but the series did end up increasing during the dramatic reunion episodes, which saw now-fired Kelly and Braunwyn try to defend their up-and-down behaviour during the season.
“Bravo is supposed to be escapism, and I don’t personally think that the people on Bravo should be on trial for their political and cultural views.”
