Norma Nicol
When career-focused and fierce, Nicol is not running things as an events planner at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, she is a dedicated mom and wife married into Ghanaian royalty.
Buli G Ngomane
A former Idols SA contestant, in-demand MC, high-end events planner, brand ambassador, award-winning businesswoman and now ‘Real Housewife’, charismatic Buli boasts an impressive CV.
Unathi Faku
The self-proclaimed royalty of Gqeberha is a successful salon owner and wife of the city’s former mayor who is comfortable in the public eye and having her every move watched. She is also a gym lover and a dedicated and doting mother.
Liz Prins
The dedicated mom, socialite and construction project manager who loves jogging is a straight shooter but is softer than she seems beneath her exterior. Prins, who also sold her company for eight figures, is learning to navigate life without her husband following his recent death.
Ashleigh Mather
Fresh-faced, and sweetheart of the group, Mather is a wife and mom in the fast-paced fashion industry, but not a pushover. Her family owns one of the city’s biggest clubs, so she certainly has a wild side that might catch her castmates by surprise.
Where is Gqeberha?
Gqeberha, formerly known as Port Elizabeth, is a city located on Algoa Bay in South Africa’s beautiful Eastern Cape Province. According to a quick Google search, the city is a major port and also known for its numerous beaches.
The Real Housewives of Gqeberha will be referred to as RHOGQ for short and follows in the footsteps of the other South African-based series like Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, and most recently Pretoria.
When does The Real Housewives of Gqeberha premiere?
Season 1 of RHOGQ premieres Friday, February 1 on 1Magic (DStv 103) at 20:30 local time.
Can I watch The Real Housewives of Gqeberha internationally?
While some of the other South African franchises have aired on Bravo and are available on streaming services like Hayu, no international premiere date has been announced for RHOGQ.
