The Real Housewives of Cheshire is set to return for Season 16 later this month with singer Natasha Hamilton officially joining the cast as a new Housewife.
The Atomic Kitten singer, 40, made the announcement on Friday’s (March 10) episode of This Morning on ITV, revealing that she is excited to be joining RHOCheshire Season 16. She joins the show just a month after she announced she is pregnant with her fifth child with husband Charles Gay.
“I just wanted to go in, take each person as the come and judge them on how they treated me, and see where the relationship goes from there,” she told host Alison Hammond, according to a write up from The Evening Standard.
It appears she will be introduced to the cast via Sheena Lynch and Natasha considers her a close friend. “I’ve known Sheena for years and I know Seema, so it wasn’t like I was going in cold,” she explained of her first night filming with the other Housewives. “But it was a really interesting evening and there was a lot to take in.”
Despite saying she gets along with “most” of her co-stars now that filming on Season 16 has wrapped, Natasha Hamilton reveals that The Real Housewives of Cheshire will still bring the drama fans expect. “There was a lot of personalities flying at me, but it’s been quite a few months now and I’m getting to know them and… most of them are lovely,” she dished.
RHOCheshire Season 16: Who’s in, and who’s out?
As previously reported, RHOCheshire recently wrapped wrapped filming on the Season 16 cast trip with new cast members Natasha Hamilton and Paige Chohan, according to just-shared pics.
The group had been filming all week is beautiful Lisbon, Portugal and the entire cast can be seen in photos shared to Instagram by Lauren Simon. In the pics, returning Housewives Rachel Lugo, Tanya Bardsley, Lystra Adams, Seema Malhotra, and Sheena Lynch are present and were joined by new cast members Paige Chohan and Atomic Kitten singer Natasha Hamilton.
Last year’s addition Katie Alex will no longer be a full-time Housewife but will appear as a Friend alongside Paige, with Tanya Bardsley, who was pictured with the group on the cast trip, also expected to be back in a part-time role.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire premieres Monday, March 20th at 9pm GMT on ITVBe and ITVX.
