RHOC Season 16 received a much-needed boost in the ratings, seeing an increase in live viewers with last night’s episode.
Episode 6 of The Real Housewives of Orange County earned a 0.29 in the demo and 920,000 viewers, up sharply from a 0.24 and 797,000 viewers the week prior which was a season low.
It is the highest-rated episode since the December 15th episode which earned a 0.32 and 955,000 viewers.
So far Episode 2, which aired on December 8th, is the highest-rated episode of the season with a 0.34 and 1,024,000 viewers, even beating the Season 16 premiere.
Interest in ratings for the Real Housewives is up (partially due to the pandemic) and the numbers have been a hot topic among both viewers and cast members so far this season. While live numbers like the ones above are super important when it comes to advertisers, Andy Cohen has also previously mentioned that Bravo also highly takes into accord delayed viewing, including DVR.
Regardless, ratings still play an important role as they are one of the key factors that come into play when it comes to discussing renewal and cancellation, as well as cast changes.
