Both RHOA and Summer House Martha’s Vineyard dropped to season low ratings on Bravo over the Memorial Day weekend holiday.
Episode 4 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta earned a disappointing 0.20 in the all-important P18-49 demo and just 657,000 live viewers, according to the Nielsen numbers. It ended up at number 6 on all of cable, behind TLC’s 90 Day Fiance franchise.

The episode, which saw the cast travel to Birmingham, Alabama to attend a charity event for Kenya Moore, ended on a cliffhanger with Marlo Hampton, Shereé Whitfield, Monyetta Shaw Carter, Courtney Rhodes, and Sanya Richards Ross banging on Kenya’s door after she retreated to her room to be with her daughter. Kandi Burruss Tucker and Drew Sidora were both absent from the episode.
The drop in live ratings also impacted new series Summer House Martha’s Vineyard, which slumped to a season low 0.10 in the demo and 298,000 live viewers, landing at number 18 on all of cable. The silver lining for the new entry, however, is that the numbers have stayed pretty much even across the first four episodes.

In addition to the episodes airing on the Sunday of the Memorial Day weekend in the U.S., the Succession series finale also aired at 9pm ET, surely grabbing some of Bravo’s attention. That series was number 2 on all of cable with a 0.26 and 896,000 live viewers.
That said, some fans are pointing out that they just aren’t as into RHOA this season and the numbers have continued to drop since the premiere.
With former fan favourite Housewives Phaedra Parks (Married To Medicine Season 10) and Porsha Williams (The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 3) appearing on other NBC shows and NeNe Leakes persona non grata at the network due to an ongoing legal situation, some viewers are questioning whether we have the right cast in place on the original show.
RHOA surely grows once delayed viewing and DVR numbers are counted but with all eyes on Vanderpump Rules ratings, every other Bravo show is under the ratings microscope.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8|7c on Bravo, followed by new episodes of Summer House Martha’s Vineyard.
