Below Deck Adventure hit a Season 1 high in the ratings this week, almost doubling its audience since the series premiere.
Episode 7, which saw the addition of a new deckhand, earned a 0.15 in the P18-49 demo and 586,000 live viewers making this week’s the highest-rated episode of Below Deck Adventure Season 1. Click Here to check out episode-by-episode ratings for Season 1.
Seth Jacobsen, who is actually a captain himself, was introduced in last night’s episode via a conversation with Captain Kerry Titheradge. (Kyle Dickard was canned by the Captain in an earlier episode and has since gone on to gain internet fame after drunkenly storming a soccer field…seriously.)
Additionally, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay is the current charter guest.
Bravo will be happy with this week’s ratings considering where Season 1 of Below Deck Adventure started off. The first cold-water spinoff in the franchise and the first to take place in Norway, the series debuted to a somewhat muted 0.08 and 421,000 live viewers back on November 1.
The numbers have continued to grow ever since, however, with three of the seven episodes earning over 500,000 live viewers. Plus, the all-important adults 18-49 demo has also continued to increase, with this week’s 0.15 making a new record high. Considering these are just the live ratings and DVR isn’t taken into account, the series is most likely a hit for the network.
