Bravo’s Kandi And The Gang doesn’t seem to be having much luck in the ratings, according to just-released Nielsen numbers.
Episode 7 of Season 1 earned a 0.08 in the P18-49 demo and 414,000 viewers, which is a new season low in the demo. The season had been trending higher, averaging about a 0.12 or 0.13 in the demo, but Sunday’s episode seems to be showing that growth could be slowing.
There may be another reason for some of the low ratings for Kandi And The Gang: scheduling. As pointed out in a previous analysis, the new series has had to compete with both the Grammys and the Oscars, while The Real Housewives of Atlanta would normally have sat those nights out.

It’s important to keep in mind that while these live ratings are probably lower than Bravo would want for the series, they are still happy with Season 1 of Kandi And The Gang and these numbers do grow once DVR and delayed views are taken into account. At the end of the day, the goal with these spinoffs is to keep the Real Housewives franchise on year-round and KATG has consistently trended on social media, so it would be a no-brainer for Bravo to keep these lower-budget shows coming down the pipeline.
Kandi And The Gang airs Sundays on Bravo.
