Peacock has revealed the official cast for The Traitors Season 2 after a few days of heated rumours and varying reports.

In a rather creative video post, the streaming service revealed that Carsten ‘Bergie’ Bergersen, Chris ‘CT’ Tamburello, Dan Gheesling, Deontay Wilder, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Janelle Pierzina, Johnny ‘Bananas’ Devenanzio, John Bercow, Kevin Kreider, Larsa Pippen, Marcus Jordan, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Mercedes ‘MJ’ Javid, Parvati Shallow, Peppermint, Peter Weber, Phaedra Parks, Sandra Diaz-Twine, Shereé Whitfield, Tamra Judge, and Trishelle Cannatella would be joining the cast for The Traitors Season 2.

The casting reveal verifies months of rumours that Peacock was looking to go with an all-reality/celebrity cast but some infamous names have been left off the official list.

Earlier this week, sources revealed that Kandi Burruss Tucker would be joining the series before The Real Housewives of Atlanta star shut down the rumours herself. Scheana Shay and Dr. Heavenly Kimes were just some of the other potential names floated for Season 2.

Peacock’s The Traitors is an American version of a popular UK reality show that sees twenty contestants arrive at a castle in the Scottish Highlands with hopes of winning a share of the $250,000 prize. Some of the players are called the “Faithful” but there are also “Traitors”, a group of contestants who are pre-selected and have a sole goal of eliminating the Faithfuls and taking the cash prize for themselves.

Cirie Fields, a veteran of the CBS show Survivor, was a Traitor on Season 1 and ended up being crowned the winner. She is now appearing on the new season of Big Brother.

The Traitors Season 2 is now filming and will premiere on Peacock in early 2024.
