Peacock has made some edits to this week’s RHOA Season 15 episode that caused viewer backlash for removing NeNe Leakes from a flashback clip, according to a new report.
As Deadline reports, RHOA airs Sundays and should be available to stream on Peacock every Monday, however that did not happen with the June 11 episode and some fans voiced their concern over social media.
Once the episode was made available earlier today (June 13), it became clear that Peacock had re-edited the episode as the much talked-about moment from Sunday’s episode was absent from the streamer’s version.
As previously reported, production flashed backed to 2011 during the June 11 episode to showcase the evolution (or destruction) of Kandi Burruss Tucker’s relationship with Marlo Hampton and used previous show intros to highlight just how long the feud has been going on for.
The only problem? They removed Ms. NeNe Leakes from the Season 4 intro, creating a WTF moment for most viewers and longtime fans of the show.
Petty and nasty!

Andy and Bravo, no amount of editing could erase Nene's contributions and legacy.
You could never erase Nene from our memories either; she built #RHOA

NeNe is not in the updated episode either, however. According to viewer reports, the episode now features an image of the RHOA Season 15 cast in place of the Season 4 grouping.
Erasing NeNe from the flashback on tonight’s episode was petty and unnecessary.

This is clearly a complicated legal situation but the constant shade towards someone so crucial to the franchise’s success isn’t a good look. #RHOA pic.twitter.com/MVNwFrXWl7
While the decision to remove NeNe’s likeness from the RHOA episode does make sense considering she sued both Bravo and Andy Cohen and accused them of fostering a racist work environment, this is the first time the network has removed talent from a show intro or promotional image in such a shady way.
The lawsuit has since been dismissed.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays on Bravo.
