Dr. Paul Nassif believes participating in Bravo’s RHOBH helped to “speed up” his divorce from Adrienne Maloof.
In an interview with E! News ahead of the new season of Botched, Paul explained that while his divorce was always going to happen, reality television definitely played a part. “I don’t think I’d ever do something like that again, especially if look at my background with this,” he said of his time on Bravo. “I think being on a reality show, it did speed up our demise and divorce. I think it was going to happen anyway, eventually.”
Now that it has been 11 years since his split from Adrienne Maloof, Paul Nassif says the two are doing a great job at co-parenting their sons Gavin, 20, and 17-year-old twins Christian and Colin. “I’ve talked to [Adrienne] at least probably five, six times a week,” he explained of their dynamic, adding, “which is a good thing for our kids.”
Paul has been married to wife Brittany Nassif for three years now and while the couple share a 2-year-old daughter together named Paulina, they have no interest in returning to RHOBH for another round.
“I think we’re too boring,” he joked. “Because we’re not going to go in and argue and do all that and start up and really get into it.”
That said, Brittany has another side that sounds like it would be perfect for The Real Housewives. “Brittany can be very saucy,” added Paul. “So, if you mess with her, she sure can, I can tell you that.”
Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif gave us some iconic moments on RHOBH but it wouldn’t make sense to have one on the show and not the other and to be honest, we’re rooting for an Adrienne return before Paul’s new wife makes any appearances.
Botched returns to E! with Season 8 on August 3 while The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will return to Bravo later this year.
