Paramount has renewed RuPaul’s Drag Race, All Stars, and Untucked for new seasons.
According to Entertainment Weekly, new episodes of the series will return in the “near future” with All Stars 9 set to stream on Paramount+ next year. The network has also ordered new seasons of Untucked to accompany both the main show and All Stars and Paramount will be celebrating the 15-year anniversary of the overall franchise when the shows return.
As previously reported on TVDeets.com, RuPaul’s Drag Race was moved from VH1 to MTV for Season 15. The decision has allowed the RuPaul Charles-hosted series to be seen in even more households worldwide and has led to the creation of new international expansions including Mexico and Brazil.
The announcement comes after the franchise was nominated for nine Emmys, including one for RuPaul as host and one for the overall series in the Outstanding Reality Competition category.
Earlier this year, the Drag Race franchise crowned two winners: Sasha Colby took home the crown on Season 15 while Canada’s Drag Race alum Jimbo was crowned the All Stars 8 champion.
