MTV has renewed Siesta Key for Season 4 and will reportedly film part of the season internationally, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The show, which follows a group of friends in and around Siesta Key and Sarasota, Florida, is set to begin filming next week and will return for a fourth season sometime in 2021. Kelsey Owens, Juliette Potter, Madisson Hausburg, Chloe Trautman, Amanda Miller, Brandon Gomes, and Garrett Miller are all returning.
Garrett Miller is returning for Siesta Key Season 4 which will film at least some of the new season at an international resort.
In an interesting tidbit, the report also reveals that the show is set to film at least some of Season 4 internationally.
Like another MTV reality show, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, the cast of Siesta Key are set to film a portion of the season at a resort, similar to The Bachelorette and something that is becoming a trend as the TV industry deals with COVID-19. According to production company Entertainment One Reality Productions, the cast and crew will take extra precautions to ensure safety during filming.
As THR also points out, the show’s renewal comes just a few months after the wrap of Season 3, which saw the show’s first reunion special filmed during the coronavirus pandemic and amid big drama among the cast.
Siesta Key Season 4 will premiere on MTV in 2021.
