Michael Sterling has vowed to win back Eva Marcille after the former RHOA star filed for divorce last week.
“I am not going to lose my wife. I am going to fight for her with every fiber in my being,” he told Page Six in an exclusive statement earlier Wednesday (March 29). “I love her and I plan to show her how much I love her and that our love is strong enough to get to the other side.”
He added, “I am not going to lose my wife. I am going to win her back.”
According to the report, the attorney did not specify how exactly he planned to win back Eva.
The statement comes just a day after Bravo and Cocktails revealed that Eva had filed for divorce in an Atlanta, Georgia courtroom.
The gossip page obtained a copy of Eva’s divorce paperwork which was stamped by the Fulton County, Georgia superior court on March 23, 2023 in which she requests a divorce from her husband of over 4 years.

“This has been one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make, but sometimes life takes your journey in a direction you were not expecting,” Eva Marcille told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement once the news of her impending divorce from Michael Sterling first broke. “Our children remain our biggest priority and the eight and half years we have spent together will always be cherished. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star took to Instagram Story to encourage her followers to “smile anyway” in what seems like a comment about the impending divorce.
Eva will next be seen on Season 4 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, which completed filming in Morocco prior to the divorce news. However, seeing as the series doesn’t premiere until next year, it is highly likely Peacock will attempt to include the divorce as part of her storyline.
