Madison LeCroy-Randle has explained her decision not to invite her Southern Charm co-stars to her recent wedding just days after the nuptials.
Speaking to Us Weekly, the reality star confirmed that it was her decision to leave her co-stars out of her special day. “I have no regrets with that, that’s for sure,” she told the magazine.
She explained, “It honestly was just so nice and relaxing to be able to focus on the reality of it and not have to, you know, incorporate all that other stuff.”
Madison married Brett Randle in Mexico over the weekend and in her chat with Us, she revealed that leaving Southern Charm out of the big day made things a lot easier. “I mean, everyone knows that when you go to a wedding, people are gonna have things to say and what[not],” she dished. “But I just felt as if everyone that was at the wedding just had such pure and good intentions that I didn’t feel — it didn’t matter to me.”
She continued, “Everybody was just having a good time and you could just see it all over their face versus sometimes when you bring in other things, like, cameras, they can create some drama. It was nice to not have any of that.”
Southern Charm drama
Madison fought with quite a few of her Southern Charm co-stars during Season 8 so that could also explain why they were not invited to her wedding. During the reunion, fans saw her go after friends Venita Aspen and Leva Bonaparte, claiming they were talking about her behind her back.
In the interview, however, she revealed that she has made up with everyone she argued with during filming. “I thought that I would never be able to say this, but, like, everyone is in my good grace right now,” she said. “I have nothing bad to say and, yeah, I hope it can stay that way. It has been so nice just getting along with everyone.”
Southern Charm is expected to return for Season 9 next year.
