Love & Hip Hop: New York star Rah Ali has announced that she is pregnant just a little over one year since suffering a miscarriage.
Rah is pregnant and expecting a daughter with her husband, she told PEOPLE exclusively in a new interview.
“I’m so overwhelmed with joy that it’s a challenge even finding the words to express how thankful I am,” she said of the happy news, providing a few photos to the magazine.
She continued, “Despite constantly micromanaging my family to be sure they stay safe during this health crisis, there’s absolutely nothing that has gotten my time or attention outside of preparing for our baby and keeping the energy around me pure and positive.

The news comes after Rah suffered a miscarriage just last year.
“When you’re pregnant with your first child, it’s a whole mental thing just knowing that you’re going to deliver,” she told the magazine at the time. “Every day you count down and see [your due date] getting closer and closer. At five months, I hadn’t even come to the realization that it was going to happen. It was the worst experience of my life.”

Rashida (Rah) Ali joined Love & Hip Hop: New York back in Season 3 when the show underwent some pretty big casting changes, and she quickly found a fanbase among the viewers.
According to “the blogs”, Rah married her mystery husband back in 2017 and hasn’t really spoken about him since.
Love & Hip Hop: New York is expected to return to VH1 next year.
