Lisa Rinna is leaving Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after 8 dramatic seasons.
The longtime reality star made the announcement via a PEOPLE Magazine exclusive which is sure to shock the Real Housewives fandom.
“This is the longest job I have held in my 35 year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series,” she told the magazine. “It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!”
According to the magazine, Rinna’s contract with Bravo expired at the end of the last year and the two parties mutually decided to part ways, despite her appearing at BravoCon in October 2022, months after filming had wrapped and the majority of Season 12 had aired. (This is typical for Bravolebrities as the network tends to let them announce their exits in their own way and rarely comments on any details.)
Lisa Rinna exiting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills may not come as a surprise to viewers, however. After facing off against Friend of the Housewives Kathy Hilton, she was booed by fans at BravoCon back in October.
As longtime fans will remember, Lisa Rinna joined RHOBH back in Season 5 alongside fellow soap opera actress Eileen Davidson, who left the series after Season 7.
With Lisa announcing her exit, casting is clearly underway for Season 13, which should begin filming in the coming weeks. In addition to Lisa Rinna, Season 12 of RHOBH featured Diana Jenkins, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Erika Jayne, Kyle Richards, Garcelle Beauvais, Dorit Kemsley, and Sutton Stracke.
