Leva Bonaparte dished about her Southern Charm spinoff Southern Hospitality in a new interview, revealing for the first time that some of her co-stars were not exactly excited about the news.
“I definitely think that there were, at times, people who maybe were not super thrilled,” she told Us Weekly while promoting Season 1 of Southern Hospitality. “They’ve all congratulated me, most of them, I wanna say, to date.”
Getting more specific, Leva reveals that some of the congratulations happened just recently. “Craig [Conover] just congratulated me as of recent,” she explained. “I saw him on a green screen, [he] was really nice about it. So, he definitely came [around].” According to Leva, the two have made up since they got into a screaming match during the recently-aired Southern Charm finale.
With the show debuting just this week, the reality star believes her co-stars have truly come around to support her, even though they may have had their doubts initially. “I think they understand that this is just very different than Southern Charm,” she dished. “It’s not taking over Southern Charm, it’s not doing anything like that… Just a very different aspect of Charleston.”
Because Leva has been so open about her co-stars’ thoughts on her new show, consider our blind item “Finale Face Time” solved.
Southern Hospitality is the latest spinoff in the Southern Charm franchise, following Leva and 10 of the young (and hot!) staff of her Charleston hotspot, Republic Garden & Lounge.
Southern Charm is expected to begin filming Season 10 in January while new episodes of Southern Hospitality air Mondays on Bravo.
