Kimora Lee Simmons says she is approached about The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills “every season” but is concerned about participating in a “fake, produced for ratings” drama, according to a new interview with the fashion icon.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Kimora Lee Simmons addressed the rumours of her joining RHOBH, revealing that she is constantly asked about joining the Bravo franchise. “Different producers call me all the time. They call me to try to be part of their show all the time,” she said, adding that the show in particular is Beverly Hills.
When asked about joining The Real Housewives of New York City due to being bicoastal, Kimora opened up about her hesitations in joining the series.
“Here’s what I just don’t understand, I don’t watch TV, are they mean to each other? Are they rude to each other? Because the clips I’ve seen, things I’ve heard, they’re kind of fighting. …Are they going to, like, invite you to a dinner party and then edit it to look a certain way?” she asked, laughing. “I don’t have the patience for that!”

The fashion designer and former reality star revealed in the interview that she is concerned about the fighting on the Bravo series, saying she doesn’t want to be a part of a “fake, produced for ratings” drama.
“I want to compel people, teach people, aspire people, uplift them,” she explained. “I want to show them how to be bad b’s, how to look great, feel great, manage everything. Fall apart if you have to, but get back up and keep going. That’s what I want to show on TV.”
In the interview, Kimora ultimately calls her future with the show “TBD.”
