Guerdy Abraira is teasing a “crazy” Season 5 of RHOM to come, according to a new interview.
The Real Housewives of Miami star tells OK! Magazine that not only will Season 5 show the fallout from Lisa Hochstein’s soon-to-be divorce from husband Lenny amid cheating allegations but that the drama will leave fans with their “mouth on the floor.”
Lisa’s divorce
Confirming that the RHOM cast found out about Lisa’s marriage via Google alert, Guerdy explains that the drama does not stop once the news was revealed during production on RHOM Season 5.
“We couldn’t catch a break,” she told the magazine in a new interview. “So I can only imagine how it affected her, like triple times. It’s just mindboggling and you see it all play out on camera because we were rolling this whole time and you can’t fake it.”
She continued, “You’re literally mouth to the floor. Unbelievable. You cannot make things up like that. It’s crazy,” adding that the rest of The Real Housewives of Miami rallied around Lisa during filming.
Feeling a part of the group
Viewers were first introduced to Guerdy Abraira when she joined RHOM Season 4 as the wedding planner for Alexia Nepola . While she did not exactly get off on the right foot with some of the women, that changes for Guerdy now that she is not planning Alexia’s wedding.
“This season is very different from, for me, for sure, because last season it was more professionally focused,” she explained. “I’m like the party planner slash friend, but party planning really was my focal point with Alexia.”
“I think that that resulted in some resentment of some kind, and you’ll see how and why,” she continued. “It put me in a place where I wanted to give her space to a degree for her mother and the whole thing. I wanted to gain the respect that I was due and owed.”
The RHOM Season 5 trailer was first revealed to viewers at BravoCon 2022, the network’s recent three-day fan event in New York City and it should come as a surprise to absolutely no one that the two-minute clip was drama-filled.
In the preview, Lisa was depicted learning about her husband’s infidelity as cameras rolled and numerous dramas were captured between the other women, including Guerdy putting her foot down more than a few times.
The first four episodes of The Real Housewives of Miami Season 5 drop December 8 on Peacock, with subsequent episodes releasing every Thursday.
