Former Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder has confirmed that Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval’s affair is real and not faked for the show.
Taking to her Straight Up With Stassi podcast on Wednesday, March 8, Stassi opened up about Scandoval and the cheating scandal rocking the Bravo universe.
Revealing that she is firmly on Team Ariana, Stassi denied there was any chance the drama is faked in order to score Vanderpump Rules another season, as some reports have suggested.
“Is there any world in which something like this would be produced with an EP, like a very high executive at a high-level to reignite a franchise that maybe has been having a couple of hard years?” asked her co-host.

“No, absolutely not,” Stassi responded. “The thing about Vanderpump Rules and what made it so great and at times so bad is that it’s so real. So when people say ‘last season sucked so bad!’, well that’s cause that was the shit that was really going on and it just so happened to not be that interesting.”
She continued, “They’re not making shit up for storylines, that’s the beauty of Vanderpump Rules. And I know for a fact that Tom Sandoval would never go through with something that would make him look good just to keep the show going.”
Revealing that Sandoval was extremely strategic behind-the-scenes during her time on the show and would plot before the cast taped reunion specials, Stassi says it was always in his favour. “Everything was always to plan to make others look bad. He was so good at pointing at things that each of us had said and done five, six years prior that had nothing to do with anything, but he would never go along with anything to make himself look bad,” she explained. “So anyone saying that this is fake… no. I wouldn’t be talking about this if there was a 1% – well, I just know it’s not fake because I know everyone involved.”
As previously reported, the Bravo universe is shaking from the revelation that Tom Sandoval has been cheating on Ariana Madix with co-star Raquel Leviss.
