Bravo’s Family Karma has halted production on Season 2 after a positive COVID-19 test, new reports confirm.
E! News reports exclusively that the pause button has been pressed on the reality series, which follows a close-knit group of all Indian-Americans in Miami, Florida. According to sources close to the show, filming will remain suspended for two weeks as per coronavirus pandemic protocols.
Family Karma’s Vishal Parvani previously revealed he had tested positive for COVID-19 at the onset of the pandemic.
It is not yet known whether the person that tested positive is a cast member or on the production side, and star Vishal Parvani actually tested positive at the beginning of the pandemic.
Bravo, like many of the other TV networks, has taken additional precautions during the pandemic to ensure that all of the cast and crew are safe, and many shows like The Real Housewives of Dallas and The Real Housewives of Orange County have been filming while in the thick of things so it is not surprising that one of the shows, this time Family Karma, has been affected by COVID-19.
Family Karma stars Shaan Patel, Bali Chainani, Anisha Ramakrishna, Monica Vaswani, Brian Benni, Vishal Parvani and Amrit Kapai and will return for Season 2 in early 2021.
