Tessa Hartmann is exiting ITVBe’s The Real Housewives of Jersey after two dramatic seasons.
The Scottish reality-star, who was one of the first women to join RHOJersey when it was first announced by ITVBe just a few years ago, will not be returning for Season 3, which is expected to start filming later this summer.
In an interview with the Sunday Mail confirming her exit from the series, Tessa makes it clear that she doesn’t want anything to do with her now-former co-stars, especially nemesis Margaret Thompson.
“The whole series is based around me liking a tweet that said Margaret was boring,” she explained. “You get a prize if you find that tweet. It has never been produced on the show.”
Continued Tessa, “Given what I know now, I think they made the whole thing up.”
In an EXCLUSIVE statement to TV Deets, Tessa Hartmann has confirmed that she is not returning to RHOJersey for Season 3.
I’m so very grateful for the incredible experience and the opportunities it presented and I don’t regret it for one minute. The crew were amazing and I think it showcased Jersey to the world. We had a lot of fun with the Hartmanns and I very much appreciated getting to work with ITV on this. I certainly won’t forget it! However, it’s not for me going forward. But as they say, as one door closes, another one opens, so let’s wait and see. I’m so busy with work and HartiSWIM and that’s so exciting. Onwards and upwards!
In addition to Tessa Hartmann, Season 2 of RHOJersey starred returning Housewives Margaret Thompson, Kate Taylor, Ashley Cairney, and Mia Ledbury, with newbies Sarha Courtnay and Karen Loderick-Peace joining the cast.
The Real Housewives of Jersey is expected to begin filming Season 3 later this summer and the reunion airs TONIGHT at 9pm GMT on ITVBe.
