RHOP has officially wrapped with the cast filming the Season 8 finale last night and TV Deets has piping hot tea on what to expect.
All of the full-time Housewives were present for the finale party hosted by Mia Thornton including Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Candiace Dillard Basset, Karen Huger, Wendy Osefo, Robyn Dixon, and newbie Nneka Ihim. Ashley Silva, who stars on OWN’s Love & Marriage DC, was also there for the big bash as an invited guest.
TV Deets spoke to multiple people at the RHOP Season 8 finale taping and the party will feature the unveiling of a Monarch Magazine photoshoot featuring all of the Housewives — well, almost all of them. Production does not want photos of the magazine shoot leaked so all attendees, including staff at the venue, were ordered to hand in their phones upon entry. Interestingly, we hear Nneka — who is joining Season 8 as a full-time Housewife — was not asked to be involved in the photoshoot.
For now, TV Deets will be keeping details of the magazine shoot secret but the Housewives are paying homage to some iconic women in entertainment and the looks will “leave fans talking,” an insider reveals.
“All-out brawl”
The finale comes just two days after TV Deets revealed EXCLUSIVELY that an “all-out brawl” broke out at the Thursday, July 13 taping for Season 8 of The Real Housewives of Potomac.
Keiana Stewart (new to Season 8 as a friend of Wendy) and Deborah Williams (one of Ashley’s BFFs) were involved in a “shocking” physical confrontation at the launch party for Ashley and Gizelle’s new activewear line. TMZ later released a video of the brawl.
According to our insiders, Deborah is not set to appear as an official cast member on the new season of the show and was only in attendance due to the July 13 event being for Ashley’s new business. The brawl wasn’t the only notable moment from the night, however, as Candiace also exchanged words with Mia.
TV Deets can reveal that Deborah and Keiana were not present for the July 15 finale taping but the Housewives did discuss the altercation throughout the night and according to an insider, the women are “split” on what exactly caused the brawl.
