RHOM has been renewed for Season 8 with filming set to begin in January 2026, sources tell TV Deets exclusively.

The unofficial, official renewal news comes as fan concern grows around the show’s performance on Bravo during the currently-airing Season 7 with recent episodes scoring less than 300,000 live viewers, according to Nielsen.

Despite what the live numbers may suggest, fans of The Real Housewives of Miami do not need to be worried about the show’s future, insiders confirm exclusively with TV Deets.

While live ratings are still important, this city in particular does well once delayed viewers are taken into account and we hear RHOM Season 7 is averaging 1.5 million viewers an episode across linear, on-demand, and Peacock streaming.

The numbers are certainly worth celebrating and could help fans understand the series’ performance but it’s notable that Bravo itself has not released any streaming numbers for RHOM like they have with some of their other hit shows.

Bravo’s RHOM has been renewed for Season 8, sources tell TV Deets exclusively.

Just this year alone, Bravo has shared streaming numbers for Southern Charm, Summer House, Below Deck Down Under, Southern Hospitality, The Valley, and even The Real Housewives of Atlanta but nothing yet for The Real Housewives of Miami.

With Season 7 having premiered back on June 11, Bravo now has over 30 days of delayed numbers to analyze and we hear the network is planning on releasing some stats soon.

In addition to performing well on streaming, RHOM scores incredibly high in terms of audience reception with Bravo executives noticing the positive response to the cast and series as a whole across many seasons and years, our insider points out.

Unlike other Real Housewives series currently on the chopping block or already taking a back seat like The Real Housewives of Dubai and The Real Housewives of New York City, it should be noted that Miami has never suffered similar viewer criticism to its cast or storylines.

With the news that RHOM is already renewed for Season 8, fans can now sit back and enjoy the rest of Season 7 — in peace.

The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 stars Lisa Hochstein, Julia Lemigova, Alexia Nepola, Larsa Pippen, Guerdy Abraira, Stephanie Shojaee, Kiki Barth, Adriana de Moura, and Marysol Patton, and airs Wednesdays on Bravo, next day on Peacock.
