Meet The Cast Of Bravo’s ‘Family Karma’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Network to feature seven Indian American socialites on new Miami-based show.

EXCLUSIVE: Bravo is entering the Miami social scene with its newest docuseries, Family Karma, set to premiere on the network this spring. Ahead of the show’s upcoming season 1 announcement, sources reveal exclusively to TV Deets what viewers can expect when it premieres, including who on the cast will be featured in a full-time role.

Originally titled Indian-ish when it was first greenlit by Bravo, the show has been renamed Family Karma and will feature some of Miami’s most well-known socialites. In a twist, the cast is deeply connected by both friendship and family and are expected to put their culture and lifestyle at the forefront of the action.

“The show is very Miami,” an insider revealed to TV Deets exclusively. “It’s going to be quite different for Bravo but very entertaining.”

While the new series is set to highlight a wide range of big personalities, seven of them have nabbed full-time spots on the show. They are:

  • Bali Chainani, sales and marketing executive
  • Monica Vaswani, HR specialist, and part-time Bollywood choreographer
  • Brian Benni, sales and account executive
  • Anisha Ramakrishna, dress designer, and food blogger
  • Amrit Kapai, attorney
  • Vishal Parvani, commercial real estate agent
  • and Shaan Patel, real estate developer

In the past few years, Bravo has made it one of their goals to diversify its programming and to show different characters, lifestyles, and cultures.

“They’re very funny, very supportive of each other,” continued our source, adding that the cast is extremely connected and socialize with each other frequently while the cameras aren’t rolling.

Aside from confessional interviews and pickup shoots, initial production on the season is completed and an announcement from the network is imminent, TV Deets has learned.
