Dr. Mirica ‘Mimi’ Sanders is joining Married To Medicine for Season 11, TV Deets has confirmed EXCLUSIVELY.
The psychiatrist — who goes by Dr. Mimi for short — was spotted filming with the cast in just-released photos from production company Purveyors of Pop and now, sources are sharing new deets about the newest Married To Medicine cast member.
Married to former NFL player Steve Sanders, she calls herself “Your Favorite Psychiatrist” and is the CEO and Medical Director of Inner Community Health, a mental health center she founded alongside her husband. The couple share two young children and are reportedly friends of returning cast member Dr. Contessa Metcalfe and her husband Scott, which explains their introduction to the group.
Married To Medicine recently wrapped filming on Season 11 with Phaedra Parks, Dr. Jacqueline Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, Toya Bush Harris, Quad Webb, and Lateasha Lunceford returning.
Dr. Alicia Egolum, who was introduced during Season 10, will not be featured in the new batch of episodes.
