Captain Lee Rosbach has confirmed a TV Deets EXCLUSIVE, revealing that Bravo has not asked him back for Below Deck Season 11.
Taking to Twitter following Monday night’s (May 29) episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Captain Lee corrected a viewer who mistakenly thought he had stepped down from the show for health reasons.
Bravo looking to “freshen up” Below Deck ahead of Season 11
As previously reported, sources close to Below Deck told TV Deets back in February that not only was Captain Lee not asked back for Season 11 but Below Deck Adventure’s Captain Kerry Titheradge is set to take his place on the already-filmed batch of episodes.
While the network is going with Below Deck Adventure’s Captain Kerry as a replacement, we are told that Bravo is looking to “freshen up” the series after ten seasons. Fraser Olender, who appeared on Season 10 as a newly-minted Chief Stew, is set to return for Season 11 of Below Deck.
Captain Lee Rosbach has appeared on Below Deck since its first season back in 2013 and the franchise has since expanded to include Below Deck Mediterranean with Captain Sandy Yawn, Below Deck Sailing Yacht with Captain Glenn Shephard, Below Deck Down Under with Captain Jason Chambers, and the previously-mentioned Below Deck Adventure with Captain Kerry.
This is not the first time a captain has switched shows with Bravo recently using Captain Sandy as a replacement for Captain Lee during Season 10 when he decided to take a step back during the middle of the season to take care of health issues.
Below Deck will return to Bravo for Season 11 this fall.
