Askale Davis seemed to impress viewers when Robyn Dixon introduced her on Season 6 of RHOP but the “Friend of the Housewives” will not be returning for Season 7, TV Deets can confirm EXCLUSIVELY.
According to a source close to production, Askale did not receive an offer to return for the new season when the other cast members did, as we reported just weeks ago.
At the time, a production insider revealed that Bravo had offered all of the full-time Housewives from Season 6 a contract to return but we were unable to confirm Askale’s status until now.
RHOP Season 7
As previously reported, production on RHOP Season 7 was set to start in mid-March after contract negotiations and that is exactly what has happened, with sources telling TV Deets that production arrived in the area last week and that filming officially started earlier this week on Tuesday, March 22.
Just yesterday (March 25), the popular Instagram account Bravo and Cocktails shared a photo of Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Robyn Dixon, and Ashley Darby filming the new season, with the cast later taking to social media with their own pictures and videos from one of the first group scenes.
While Wendy Osefo, Mia Thornton, and Candiace Dillard were not spotted with the original Real Housewives of Potomac, they are all returning for the new season which is expected to wrap filming this summer.
Fans won’t have to wait much longer for a dose of Potomac, however. As previously reported, Karen Huger is set to star in RHOP: Karen’s Grande Dame Reunion this April, which is the spinoff TV Deets told you about EXCLUSIVELY back in November 2021.
RHOP Season 7 will premiere on Bravo later this year.
