Dawn Ward is a founding cast member of The Real Housewives of Cheshire but show insiders tell TV Deets that she wants out.
EXCLUSIVE: Dawn Ward is considering leaving The Real Housewives Of Cheshire ahead of production on Season 6, sources tell TV Deets exclusively.
Even though Season 6 (or series, as its referred to in the U.K.) hasn’t been formally been announced by ITV, the show is expected to be commissioned with Dawn at the helm of the Housewives and filming is set to begin at the end of this month.
While production is ready to begin, we hear that the cast is anything but settled. Dawn has been on the show since its first season but we hear that her feud with Leanne Brown and reported financial reasons are just some of the reasons why she is hesitant to sign on the dotted line for another year.
“Leanne has done a lot of damage to Dawn Ward,” a show insider told TV Deets exclusively. “She isn’t the person that people think and it has her sick [about returning].”
Dawn’s hesitance has been exasperated by talk and gossip around their relatively small town, sources say.
“Cheshire talks,” says our source. “There’s a lot of issues right now with Dawn; her house has been for sale for years with no takers, her supposed charity isn’t really happening, and the wedding venue she wanted on her property was denied. That’s not even touching on the court case with Leanne or the fact that she was charged with assault last year.”
Our insiders suggest even Tanya Bardsley is over Dawn’s antics.

As Dawn considers leaving the show to save face, another RHOCheshire star is reportedly back in the mix. Magali Gorre has stayed active on social media with fans and remains a loyal viewer of the show, despite leaving after Season 2. She is in a great place in her life and has a lot to offer, so it’s not shocking to hear that producers are now considering bringing her back.
Magali has been documenting her thoughts on the show via her own YouTube channel and has been working with The Manchester Evening News to share her opinions.
“Dawn leaving would really set the stage for Magali to return,” a separate source explained. “The girls have now seen the real Dawn and some of them owe Magali an apology.”
“Magali is on great terms with all of them, though, and would be open to returning — if the arrangement was right.”
For now, it seems that at the very least we’re in for a cast shakeup when the show returns to ITVBe next year.
