Everything We Know About ‘The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip’

An All Stars-style mashup premieres this November on Peacock.

The Real Housewives fans are about to be treated to one of the biggest moments in franchise history with the launch of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, the upcoming vacation-themed spinoff set to debut on Peacock later this year.

Ahead of the show’s expected announcement and trailer, we’ve compiled everything we know about The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, otherwise known as RHUGT.

“Untitled Real Housewives Spinoff”

News of a potential spinoff in the Real Housewives franchise first surfaced in September 2019 when NBCUniversal confirmed Peacock as the name of its new streaming service, according to Deadline.

At the time of the announcement, NBC simply listed the spinoff as “Untitled Real Housewives Spinoff”, confirming that they wanted to keep details of the project secret.

Then, in February 2021, multiple outlets confirmed that an All Stars-style mashup series featuring women from different cities was in the works. “A source tells PEOPLE the series will likely feature several women from various cities living together under one roof for a period of time,” read one report at the time.

RHUGT Season 1 cast

Shortly afterwards, sources close to NBC began leaking potential cast members, with Teresa Giudice, Luann De Lesseps, Kyle Richards, Cynthia Bailey, Ramona Singer, and Melissa Gorga all making the cut.

The casting was officially confirmed with the release of the series’ official promotional photo featuring all 7 rumoured cast members, which you can see below.

Season 1 will reportedly consist of 4 episodes.

While nothing else about the series has been officially confirmed by Bravo or Peacock, Season 1 is rumoured to be dropping on the streaming service this November, so expect more details and possibly a trailer, very soon.

RHUGT Season 2 cast

As if one season of RHUGT wasn’t enough, Season 2 has already completed filming. Just weeks ago, rumours started to surface that Peacock was already planning to film a second edition of the vacation series, this time focusing around Real Housewives of New York star Dorinda Medley.

According to various reports, Dorinda was set to host 7 of her closest friends at Bluestone Manor, which was seen in numerous episodes of RHONY over the years.

While RHUGT Season 1 will feature the OGs of the franchise, Season 2 is expected to feature some more notorious trouble makers in the group.

According to reports, Phaedra Parks, Taylor Armstrong, Brandi Glanville, Eva Marcille, Jill Zarin, and Vicki Gunvalson, along with Dorinda, are all set to be a part of Season 2.

The casting and filming news has been confirmed via multiple photos and videos.

Unfortunately, fans of the franchise will have to wait a little bit longer for RHUGT Season 2 because if Season 1 is expected to debut this November, that most likely means that Season 2 won’t come until 2022.

This is a developing story. We’ll keep you posted…
