Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor have announced that they are expecting their first child together. Vanderpump Rules co-stars Lala Kent and Randall Emmett announced their pregnancy news just last month, while Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark also confirmed they are expecting earlier this year.

The news comes amid an extended hiatus for the Bravo show due to the coronavirus pandemic. SUR restaurant, where the show is based, has been closed for months, and Bravo is also considering what to do with the cast following a string of racism-related scandals that left four cast members with the pink slip.

Stassi recently addressed the controversy, appearing on the Tamron Hall Show to give her side.

“People expected me to just understand everything immediately and things like that take time. And I felt like it would be better for me to take the time to get a greater understanding of everything and the issues before I opened my mouth again,” she told the talk show host about this summer’s drama, according to Us Weekly

“I’m someone who messed up quite a few times. I am the reason why I am in this situation,” she continued. “I think a lot of people wanted me to focus on cancel culture and whether I was a victim or not but it’s not how I feel at all.”

Despite the drama, a healthy and happy baby is always good news so congratulations are in order for both Brittany and Jax.

Vanderpump Rules is expected to return to Bravo in 2021.
