Bravo has revealed that The Real Housewives of Dubai is coming to the network in 2022, the first international Real Housewives city to be aired primarily on the U.S. cable network.
Former Bravo executive and Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen made the exciting announcement on the Today Show earlier this morning (November 1).
“Everything’s bigger in Dubai, and I couldn’t be more excited to launch Bravo’s first international Housewives series in a city I’ve been fascinated by for years, with an outstanding group of friends as our guides,” he says in an official statement.
While Bravo has previously aired episodes of The Real Housewives of Cheshire and The Real Housewives of Melbourne, for example, this will be the first time that they are the first airing for a city outside of the United States.
Who are the ladies of RHODubai?
While Andy’s statement confirms that the women have been cast and chosen, no specific names were mentioned in this morning’s press release. However, rumours have been swirling that Caroline Stanbury, who starred on three seasons of Ladies of London, will be heading up the group as she now lives in Dubai.
In a twist, Bravo is asking fans to pick the hashtag for the new series via Twitter Conversation Cards, and the two choices are #RHODubai and #RHODXB.
When will RHODubai premiere?
The Real Housewives of Dubai is expected to premiere on Bravo in 2022. As this is a developing story, we’ll keep you posted…
