Bravo New Zealand has ordered a one-time Real Housewives of Auckland reunion special, according to new reports.
According to The Daily Mail, the New Zealand version of the Bravo network has commissioned Get Housewived, a one-time special that will see some of the RHOAKL cast reunite and provide a makeover to one lucky family.
“We hope our NZ audiences enjoy this feel-good special featuring some of their favorite Housewives of Auckland,” Executive Chris Taylor said in a statement.
“It is such a genius idea to have our fabulous Real Housewives Of Auckland reunite to bring some much-needed glitz and glamour to the lives of others. What could possibly go wrong?” added RHOAKL producer Alistair McKinnon in the same statement.
The Real Housewives of Auckland are set to reunite in a one-off reunion special.
While a reunion sounds like a great idea, only two of the Housewives are set to return for the one-off special: Gilda Kirkpatrick and Michelle Blanchard.
The Real Housewives of Auckland aired on Bravo New Zealand back in 2016 before being cancelled due to a racial controversy. According to the release, the special is set to air on Bravo New Zealand at the end of the year.
