Below Deck‘s Captain Lee Rosbach took to Instagram over the weekend to share a touching tribute to his son, Josh.
Last week, the beloved Bravo captain shared a tattoo in progress that wound up being a beautiful depiction of his son with wife Mary Anne. The Below Deck star has allowed fans into his grieving process and earlier this month, he opened up about the one year anniversary of his son’s death, which came due to Josh’s struggle with addiction.
“It was a year ago today that my bride, Mary Anne and I lost our beloved Son Josh to his demons,” he posted. “The struggle continues, but we’re getting thru it. Thanks to all of you out there for your unconditional support, it does not go unnoticed and touches me in the very depths of my soul. We are both very grateful for the random acts of love and kindness that continue to come our way. To Josh, we will always carry you in our hearts and will do so until our souls leave our bodies to join you. We love you son and are very proud of the kind and loving person you were.”
A few days later, Lee shared that the tattoo had been completed in full at the appropriately named High Spirits Tattoo Co. in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
“Finished product,” he captioned the pic of his new tattoo. “Will be better after healing, but our son is now where he should be and will always be, in my heart.”
Below Deck, with Captain Lee Rosbach at the helm, is expected to return for Season 8 later this year. Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays on Bravo.
