Aesha Scott is back! On last night’s episode of Below Deck Mediterranean, Captain Sandy Yawn brought back yet another familiar face to the Season 5 crew with Aesha’s addition.

As fans of Below Deck are well aware, this season has certainly been a doozy. Even though we’re only halfway through the season, Captain Sandy has already fired Chef Kiko and replaced him with Malia White’s boyfriend and chef Tom Checketts, and longtime Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier officially exited the series with last week’s episode.

“Your favorite bush pig is baaaack!” she shared excitedly as she was re-introduced to the cast, as reported by Bravo’s The Daily Dish.

Aesha appeared on Season 4 of Below Deck Mediterranean and quickly won fans over with her quick wit, sharp humour, light personality, and casual vibe, so she will certainly be a great addition to the current team.

After all, some fans have been looking for a change of pace following the drama surrounding Hannah’s exit and bringing in someone as refreshing as Aesha may just do the trick.

Aesha Scott famously—or infamously, however you want to put it—dated fellow crew member Jack Stirrup but their relationship seemed to dwindle at the end of the season, and fast. Fans may have loved seeing the two together but Jack has since gone on to have a child with his ex-girlfriend and Aesha is expected to update the crew on her relationship status with next week’s episode.

With quite a few more episodes still left in the season, it looks like fans are in for a wild ride as we head towards the Season 5 finale. While Watch What Happens Live is currently off the air, Bravo fans are able to get even more Below Deck Med by checking out the official After Show on BravoTV.com each Monday right after the episodes.

Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays on Bravo and Slice.
