Earlier today, the 2020 Emmy nominations were announced and some of our favourite reality shows have been rewarded for their efforts.
According to a report from Deadline, RuPaul’s Drag Race received multiple nominations for VH1 including a nod to RuPaul himself. Bravo’s Top Chef was equally rewarded, with the show taking home multiple nominations.
Aside from Netflix’s Queer Eye, however, the rest of the nominations were for broadcast networks.
While the nominations remain a big deal for both shows, this cements RuPaul’s Drag Race in the mainstream.
